Step by step
From first idea to finished plans.

Talk it through
A relaxed conversation about what you want, what you need, your lot and your budget. Nothing to prepare; bring ideas, photos or a sketch if you have them.

Design in 3D
We turn your ideas into a plan and model it in 3D, so you can see the home from every angle, outside and in.
- 03
Refine together
Move a wall, raise a ceiling, swap the stone for brick. We adjust until it feels exactly right.
- 04
Plans for your builder
Permit and construction ready plans, delivered digitally, that your builder can bid and build from. Typically 2 to 3 months from start to finish.
All of our designs are done in 3D, which lets us show your home from all angles before it's built.
Why 3D matters
Decisions are cheap on screen and expensive on site.
Designing in 3D gives you more control and input into the design process. It makes the design process faster, and honestly, more fun. Most importantly, you'll know exactly what you're building before construction starts.

Breaking ground in spring? Design starts now.
Design, revisions, builder bids and permits all take time. Homeowners who start planning in fall and winter are the ones ready when the ground thaws. We're currently booking new projects about 3 to 4 months out, so getting on the calendar early holds your spot.

How many revisions do I get?
Revisions aren't counted. We keep working with you until it's right. If the scope changes in a big way, we'll talk it through together first.
How long have you been in business?
HomeScape 3D Drafting & Design has been creating custom home plans in Saginaw, Michigan since 1994.
What's included in a free consultation?
A no-pressure conversation about your project, your lot, your budget and your timeline. You'll leave knowing which plan tier fits and what happens next.
What's in the final plans?
As needed for your project: plan views, elevations, sections and details, plus 3D views with the Better and Best packages. Plans are permit and construction ready and delivered digitally.
