Barndominiums
Barndominium plans built around how you live and work.
Living space and shop space under one roof. We design barndominiums that work as a home first, with the workshop, garage bays and storage sized for how you'll really use them.
Why it works
Barndominium Plans, done the Homescape way.
Every barndominium plans project starts with a conversation about how you live, what you need, and what your site and budget allow. Living space and shop space under one roof. We design barndominiums that work as a home first, with the workshop, garage bays and storage sized for how you'll really use them. One designer stays with you from the first sketch to the final drawings, and the details below are what make the difference.
Home first
A barndominium is still your home. We plan bedrooms, kitchens and living areas with the same care as any custom house.
Shop sized right
Door heights, bay depths, workbench walls and storage: we plan the work side around your trucks, equipment and hobbies.

Plans drawn for Michigan code.
Michigan homes are permitted under the Michigan Residential Code, which is administered by the state's Bureau of Construction Codes and based on the International Residential Code. The building department that covers your township, city or county reviews the drawings before it issues a permit. Homescape 3D prepares every plan set with that review in mind, drawn the way builders and inspectors expect to read floor plans, elevations, sections and details.
