Decks & patios
Decks and patios that make the most of a Michigan summer.
The best outdoor spaces feel like an extension of the house. We design decks and patios around your views, your doors and how you like to entertain.
Why it works
Decks & Patios, done the Homescape way.
Every decks & patios project starts with a conversation about how you live, what you need, and what your site and budget allow. The best outdoor spaces feel like an extension of the house. We design decks and patios around your views, your doors and how you like to entertain. One designer stays with you from the first sketch to the final drawings, and the details below are what make the difference.
Flow from inside out
We look at where your doors, kitchen and living areas are, so the deck or patio feels like part of the home.
Views and sun
Placement matters. We think about the lake, the yard, the afternoon sun and your neighbors' windows.
See it first
A 3D view helps you settle size, stairs and railings before the lumber arrives.

Plans drawn for Michigan code.
Michigan homes are permitted under the Michigan Residential Code, which is administered by the state's Bureau of Construction Codes and based on the International Residential Code. The building department that covers your township, city or county reviews the drawings before it issues a permit. Homescape 3D prepares every plan set with that review in mind, drawn the way builders and inspectors expect to read floor plans, elevations, sections and details.
